Oh boy… will this combo really get the money and trust needed to make this thing work? The tech, the hype, the gore, the surreality of the epic?

Who’s writing this “bad boy?” (hello, over here!) Will two parts be enough?

Casting wise, will Leo keep his mug behind the camera? Or would you trust Rain to do what he tried to do in Ninja Assassin?

Oh wait, it’s gonna be a rebuilt New Manhattan? I mean, it’s my city but doggone it, if they ain’t gonna really shoot it here — especially if they go the Avatar “emotion capture” route — why not keep it in Japan?

Will they at least recognize that Queens represents more nationalities and ethnicities in one municipality than anywhere else… in the world? Meaning… they’ll get UN-multi-culti with the roles?

3D is a sure bet. Or why bother!

I shake & quiver in the kicks at these thoughts… but I do want the Hughes to make it happen.
